6-week Platform Classes (Fall Schedule)

Not sure where to go after drag-and-drop coding? We've released a set of 6-week classes to allow your coder to explore a new platform. These platform classes will start the first week of September, and are limited to 8 students per class.

• 3D Modeling I: We will be using TinkerCAD, a 3D computer graphics software toolset created by AutoCAD. Bring your best creative visions and ideas and learn how to make them a digital reality! We will cover basics of creating models with privative shapes - students will get to print out their projects and get them back the following class session. This program is recommended for ages 7+
  
  
• Python: We will focus on syntax, coding logic and importing basic libraries (ie, turtle, random, etc) while introducing students to the basics of Python. Python is a great language that can open up future opportunities in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and more. This program is recommended for ages 10+.
  
  
• Unity Game Development I: We will be using Unity to create an awesome 2D game; Game Development I will focus on basic character movements, camera panning, collisioning, win conditions, and creating interactable objects for your character to collect. This program is recommended for ages 10+
  
  
• Web Development I: We will focus on the basics of HTML/CSS by learning how to deconstruct websites, basic webpage structure, and how HTML and CSS interact to create amazing user experiences. Have you ever wanted to make your own portfolio, blog or store front? Learn how to get started by joining our 6-week Web Development course. This program is recommended for ages 10+

Duration: 1 hour, per week
Note: You are enrolling for 6 consecutive weeks of this program - the program will meet every week, at the same time and day. If you are unsure which dates you are scheduled for, please contact our front desk at yl@thecoderschool.com for more information.

Cancellation policy Full refund up to one week prior to the course starting and a partial refund within a week of the class starting. No refunds or make-ups will be givens to any classes missed due to the nature of the course.
